The Optional Club of the Year Award is given out to the club with the best optional team in Southern California. The head coach of the Optional Club of the Year is honored by being one of the lead clinicians at the S.C.M.G.A. Optional Development Clinic. This award is calculated by adding up individual scores from the following categories.
